Watch: Eating food prepared by HIV+ people is safe

42 percent of New Zealanders said they wouldn’t eat food prepared by someone with HIV despite there being no risk to their health.

That shocking statistic comes from a poll conducted last year by Colmar Brunton commissioned by Positive Women Inc and the New Zealand AIDS Foundation. At this year’s big gay out in Auckland, Body Positive set up a cafe to prove that food made by positive people can be delicious and safe.
