Following on from the sequel, the remaining Abbott family members search for other humans who may have escaped the deadly creatures who wrought havoc on humanity. But along the way they encounter lots more.

OK, this is one hell of a scary movie that delivers incredibly tense moments as well as some outright frights.
Performances by the cast are top notch, particularly by the kids in it.
There are a number of slow patches and a few action movie cliches which are so obvious you see them coming from afar – but when the action kicks in it unrelenting.
The film has a great look to it and the right amount of post-apocalyptic set dressing.
It is a worthy successor to part one.
