Auckland Pride announces the first wave of the 2023 programme is now live, for a full month of celebration and connection from 1 – 26 February 2023. The Festival will include annual gatherings, new key events to mark in the calendar, and a programme brimming with arts experiences throughout Tāmaki Makaurau, all framed within this year’s theme of ‘Elevate’.
The first release of events in the Auckland Pride Festival 2023 programme is now live! This year highlights artists who are the creative lifeblood of the festival.
With returning favourites such as She’s Crowning and the Auckland debut of Show Ponies, top 3 from Drag Race Down Under, and international acts such as Peaches, you’d be foolish not to book ASAP!
We also have festivals within the festival, such as Samesame But Different and the announcement of weeklong Festival of Live Art (F.O.L.A. [Akl]) at Basement Theatre. Not to mention a range of Pride events at Q Theatre too!
Other large events include the Pride March on 18th February, Pride in the Square, and Te Timatanga.
