Aotearoa soul artist TEEKS (Ngāpuhi, Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāti Ranginui) today announces an extensive tour across Aotearoa in March 2027, alongside the release of his sophomore album Lovers Comet, out now via Sony Music and featuring focus track Headlights.
TEEKS will return to stages across Aotearoa beginning in Heretaunga Hastings at Toitoi Opera House on Friday 5 March, followed by Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, where TEEKS revisits Auckland Town Hall on Saturday 6 March. The next weekend the tour heads to Te Waipounamu South Island to Ōtepoti Dunedin’s Regent Theatre on Friday 12 March, then heading to the Town Hall in Ōtautahi Christchurch on Saturday 13 March before returning to Te Ika-a-Māui North Island. The tour will head to the Sir Howard Morrison Centre on Friday 19 March in Rotorua, followed by the BNZ Theatre in Kirikiriroa Hamilton on Saturday 20 March and Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington’s Town Hall on Wednesday 24 March.
Five years on from Something To Feel, the album that cemented TEEKS as a household name, Lovers Comet sees TEEKS enter a new creative orbit. Following a period of profound personal and creative evolution, the album delves into desire, intimacy, identity and the transformative power of love through a deeply personal and celestial lens.
Tickets go on sale at Friday 6 November, 12pm local.

In TEEKS’ words – Lovers Comet is a meditation on desire – its purity, its danger, its euphoria, its shadow. The album explores love not as fantasy, but as a cosmic phenomenon: magnetic, unpredictable, breathtaking, and occasionally destructive. Like a comet, love passes through our lives with force and beauty – illuminating, disrupting, and ultimately transforming us.
The album features some of TEEKS’ most vulnerable songwriting to date. Beyond its exploration of romance and desire, Lovers Comet challenges colonised ideas of masculinity and invites a more fluid understanding of love, sexuality and sensuality. Across its 12 tracks, TEEKS explores the many dimensions of queerness and the ways culture, identity and social conditioning shape our relationships with ourselves and others.
With Lovers Comet, TEEKS invites listeners into his intimate inner universe. It is the sound of an artist embracing every facet of himself, trusting his instincts and discovering the freedom that comes with loving without limits.
