Watch: Those Who Wish Me Dead is on fire

Those Who Wish Me Dead is Angeline Jolie’s latest film about two assassins pursue a young boy who witnessed them killing his father. He meets up with a firefighter in a forest and she sets out to protect him.

Press play to watch my review:

The cast is good, but their characters at times are a little cliched. The two villains played by Nicholas Hoult and Aidan Gillen are ruthless. The heroes, Angelina Jolie and Jon Bernthal are convincing heroes, and Medina Senghorne proves to be scene stealer. It is Finn Little as the boy however who really holds this film together and gives it heart.

It has some great action sequences and the forest fire special effects are scarily believable. The story however seesaws between thrilling action and some rather sedentary scenes.

Overall, it’s a good film that is thrilling but perhaps a little obvious at times.

So how did I score it?
